How to prepare forms and collect client data efficiently
Forms auto-fill from the client profile and case; questionnaires let clients verify and provide data directly.
When to complete this task
Whenever you’re preparing a filing or gathering intake information.
Basic steps
- Case Profile → Forms → open a form
- Use Party on Demand to switch data sources
- Email forms as Editable HTML or Read-only PDF
- Use Intake Wizards when available
Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: Open Case Profile → Forms and select a form
Step 2: Review auto-filled data; use Party on Demand to switch data sources for a section
Step 3: To send forms to a client: select forms → Email → choose Editable HTML (client edits in portal) or Read-only PDF
Step 4: Accept returned forms and questionnaires via Mailbox → Accept
Step 5: Use Intake Wizards (wizard versions of forms) to streamline client data entry

- Form Always Override allows one-off edits without changing the client profile
- Auto Reduce Font helps long entries print correctly
